=The article explains how you can choose the logic by which Total Rent on the Rent Table on a Deal will be calculated.
Choosing Total Rent calculation logic
On Deal record page for Tenant Rep or Landlord Rep Rent Table functionality is provided under Related list. Table is being autogenerated when all fields relevant to leasing are populated.

For Tenant Rep and Landlord Rep record types Lease Term section shows field Total Rent calculation.

note: Landlord Rep and Tenant Rep templates must be updated by the admins to show the field. If your org does not show Total Rent Calculation field, please contact your administrator.
In dropdown for Total Rent Calculation there are Annual Ratio Rent and Monthly Rate values.
By default, for newly created records Annual Ratio Rent is set as default value.

When Annual Ratio Rent value is set, the calculation s of Total Rent value on generated Rent table includes Year's ratio multiplied by Annual Rent (Monthly Rate × 12 months).
When Monthly Rate value is set, the calculation s of Total Rent value on generated Rent table multiplied Duration by Monthly rate.

You must save the changes on the Deal page and regenerate the rent table, clicking on corresponding button.
note: when user regenerate Rent table, all manually input values get overridden.
