Release 3.30 is about taking manual work out of building publications with AI. You can now tell Composer what each image in a template should show and let it pick the right photo from your record's gallery at generation time. You can also build tables that fill their own rows from the records you select. Templates being generated from a PDF now appear in your list immediately, so you always know where they stand. Alongside these, we fixed a set of issues affecting PDF exports, Outlook rendering, and AI template creation.
New Features
- Image slot descriptions: You can now describe what each image slot in an AI template should show — for example "building exterior" or "lobby" — so the right kind of photo lands in the right place.
- AI-powered image selection: When you generate a publication, we now match images from your record's gallery against your slot descriptions automatically, so photos appear in the correct positions without you choosing them one by one. Previews and final publications use the same selection, so what you see is what you get.
- Dynamic tables from your records: You can now build a table that draws its rows from the records you select and bind each column to a field, so the table fills itself when you generate a document.
- Template creation progress: A template being created from a PDF now appears in your templates list right away, so you can track its progress and see when it's ready — or if it needs your attention.
