What's New In Ascendix Search 1.21

    Available November 11, 2024

    New Features & Improvements:

    • Warning Popup for Connected App Configurations: The warning popup has been updated to inform users about the necessary configurations for the Connected App and Permission Sets. It includes a clear title, informative content, and a link to support documentation that opens in a new tab, enhancing user guidance.
    • Persistent Warning Message: A new warning label will be displayed on the ACX Search UI if users close the popup without completing the required configurations. This ensures users remain aware of necessary steps until they are fulfilled.
    • Composer Online Checkbox Default Setting: The Composer Online checkbox in the Ascendix Search Setup is now enabled by default. This change simplifies the setup process during installation and upgrades, ensuring that users are configured for optimal use from the start.
    • Improved Configuration Logic: User can select the member's list and set it as default in case the default list is already configured on the Mailchimp side.
    • Save Search in the Run Search dialog: Users can save Search when running the search audience to select the target audience in Mailchimp.
    • View Entity Records in the Mailchimp Report: The "View Records Related to the Publication" checkbox is now available in Mailchimp campaign reports. This feature provides a detailed view of related entity records, including a scrollable table and clickable record names for easy navigation.
    • Preheader Text: Users can configure an optional preheader text for emails, offering additional context or enticement in the inbox preview.
    • Create a Report from the new Composer component: The new "+New" button in the Composer component allows users to generate reports directly from the Composer tab, eliminating the need to switch tabs.
    • View Related Records for the Generated Report: The "View Records" option in the Composer actions dropdown lets users access detailed information about records related to a Composer report.
    • Added Default Composer Templates: The Template dropdown in Composer now includes default templates alongside custom ones. Custom templates appear first, followed by default templates, with both types available for quick selection and preview.
    • Improved Interface: System objects like "Apex Class" are now automatically excluded from the Email section in Ascendix Search Setup. The default selections for "Object Name," "Relationship," and "Email" fields are set to "--None--" to streamline user interactions.
    • Custom Object Emails: Users can now send emails to custom objects using Contact email addresses, provided the custom object has a lookup relationship to Contacts or Leads. Email activity will be tracked on the associated Contact or Lead records.
    • Support Multiple Relationships: Users can configure email functionality by adding a main object and specifying a related object with an email field. This allows selection of lookup relationships from the To dropdown in the Email dialog.
    • Geolocation Field Help Text: If a Related Object lacks a Geolocation Field, a red help text "This Object has no geolocation fields" will be displayed during Mappable configuration, clarifying why no values are available.
    • Expanded Add to Campaign Functionality: Users can now add up to 2000 Account records as campaign members in Ascendix Search, allowing for more efficient campaign management.
