Version 1.1 introduces Thinking Mode, a new adaptive way for the agent to work through complex tasks, and delivers a major upgrade to search: work directly from search results, act on records without leaving the conversation, and carry selected records forward into follow-up actions.
Highlights
- Thinking Mode — the agent evaluates each step and adapts its approach as it goes, replacing the previous Multi-Step Mode with a more capable, adaptive alternative.
- See up to 200 records per search — the previous 50-record cap is gone, so fewer repeat searches to find what you need.
- Act on records without leaving search — select one or many, then edit, bulk edit, or add notes, all from the results table.
- Selected records stay in context — records you select stay in the panel, so you can act on them in follow-up requests (like drafting an email to those contacts) without repeating names.
New Features
Thinking Mode
Replaces Multi-Step Mode with an adaptive approach: the agent evaluates each step and adjusts its plan based on what it finds, instead of following a fixed path.
- Select alongside Fast Mode in the mode picker at the bottom of the composer
- Reasoning and step-by-step actions are visible as the agent works
- Works with existing capabilities (search, create, update, draft email)
- Example: search for a contact, verify the email, draft it — or notify you if no valid email exists
The chat interface has also been refreshed.

Work directly from search results
The results table is now an interactive workspace — adopting some of the interactions you already know from Ascendix Search. Select records, act on them in place, and keep them available as you continue the conversation.
-
Select one or multiple records to act on together
-
Split View keeps results visible while you review record details

- Configurable columns — choose which columns appear in results and reorder them to match your workflow

- Bulk edit selected records in one action

- Add notes to selected records, automatically associated with the right record

Inline record editing
Refine your search without starting over. After a search, the full criteria — conditions, filter logic (AND / OR / Custom), sort, and record limit — are available directly in the chat. Adjust and re-run without losing your place in the conversation.

Follow-up actions on selected records
Records you select stay in the panel throughout the conversation, so you can trigger follow-up actions on them — like drafting an email to those contacts — without re-specifying which records you mean.

Improvements
Bigger result sets — Search results now return up to 200 records, up from 50.
Export selected records — Export was previously limited to the full result set; you can now export just the records you've selected.
Invalid emails no longer block record creation — Records can now be created even when the email field contains an invalid address. Valid data is preserved, and you'll see clear feedback on the email field so it can be corrected.
