To generate an OpenAI API key that can be used for text generation by using ChatGPT, please follow the next steps:
- Follow the link: OpenAI Platform.
- In case, you are not authorized, sign up or log in to the account.
3. Click on the “Create new secret key” button.
- In the opened popup window, press the “Create” button. Optionally, name this key.
5. Once the key is generated, it will be displayed on the next popup window. Please, copy and save this key somewhere outside OpenAI account since there is no option to review it once again after closing the popup. After this, press “Done”.
6. In the “API keys” tab of the OpenAI platform, the created key can be reviewed, renamed, and removed. Also, other keys can be generated and used.
