    Harvest Limitations

    R 1.4

When Agentforce (Einstein AI) is configured as the AI provider, the email parsing engine makes up to 3 request attempts. If all attempts fail, the parsing request is not processed and an error is returned.

    • When Agentforce (Einstein AI) is configured as the AI provider, the email parsing engine makes up to 3 request attempts. If all attempts fail, the parsing request is not processed and an error is returned.
    • Recommended ceiling: up to 7 objects with up to 14-15 fields each. Enabling more is technically possible but degrades parsing accuracy.
    • Typical Processing Time: 2-3 minutes for most emails. Record suggestions appear within 2-3 minutes of email processing completion under normal load.
    • Email body length up to 131072 characters. Otherwise, create failed RRS with error like:
Email body exceeds the max email body size limit nnn chars). Maximum allowed size is 131072 chars.
    • Email services reject email messages and notify the sender if the email (combined body text, body HTML, and attachments) exceeds approximately 25 MB (varies depending on language and character set)  - Salesforce Help. No records will be created (even RRS)
    • Max 25 records can be suggested for creation after parsing an email

    R 1.7

    • Picklist values sent to the AI. For each picklist or multi-select picklist field, only the first 100 active values are sent to the AI. Values after the first 100 are never suggested.
    • Objects and fields are set by the admin. In My Harvest Settings, users can view their active objects and fields and edit object descriptions, but they cannot turn objects or fields on or off.
    • Personal settings are not updated by later admin changes. Each user's settings are copied from the org defaults on first use. Changes an admin makes to the org defaults afterwards do not update existing user settings.
    • Instruction length. In My Harvest Settings, customized rules cannot be longer than 4,000 characters in total.
    • Junk emails are not editable. Bounce-backs, auto-replies, calendar invitations, system notifications, password resets and similar emails never create records. Users cannot change this with Rules by Email Type.
