Activity Manager

    Discover how the Activity Manager can optimize productivity, streamline processes, and improve team collaboration in your workplace.

    The Activity Manager is a feature used to manage tasks within Ascendix Search. It helps users track and organize their daily work, ensuring that important tasks are properly managed.

    Admin users can enable Activity Manager in Ascendix Search settings:

    1.Click on the gear icon.

    2.Go to Configurations tab.

    3.In the sidebar, locate and click on the Options section.

    4.Find the checkbox labeled “Display activity manager” and select it.

    5.Click the "Save" button to apply the changes.

    Once enabled, the Activity Manager will be available for users on the left side of the interface. Simply click on the arrow button to expand it.

    Here is the main functionality of this feature:

    1.Show the Calendar: To view your calendar, click the calendar icon located in the top-right section of the Activity Manager.

    2.Create a New Task: To add a new task, click the + icon next to the planned time for the task.

    3.Reorder Tasks: You can reorder tasks within each time period by simply dragging and dropping them into the desired position.

    4.Mark Tasks as Completed: Once a task is done, click the checkbox next to the task name to mark it as completed.

    Task Display Order

    Tasks will be automatically organized in the following order:

    Overdue: Tasks that are past their due date.

    Today: Tasks scheduled for the current day.

    Tomorrow: Tasks planned for the next day.

    Next 7 Days: Tasks scheduled for the upcoming week.

    Later: Tasks set for future dates beyond the next 7 days.

    No Date: Tasks without a specified due date.
